Inspired by early 20th century Australian travel posters, 'Darwin' features an assemblage of iconic Northern Territory imagery. Travel posters from this interwar period, often appealing to the beauty of the Australian wilderness, were a huge promoter of the Australian travel industry. I love the graphic style and the distillation of elements in these posters. 'Darwin' is my tip of the hat to these works.
